Kora Organics: Hand Cream & Foot Cream

Daily Hand Cream: $39.95 for 90ml    &  Rejuvenating Foot Balm: $34.95 for 90ml

I am a big sceptic when it comes to brands endorsed by a famous celebrity. But in this case, Kora Organics was actually founded by Miranda Kerr herself and the brand went through product certification by EcoCert. I adore their body care range, and my go-to products are definitely the Daily Hand Cream and the Rejuvenating Foot Balm. Read more below

First Impression
'a very refreshing take of natural and organic brand'

Kora has a signature look that is their matte light-blue packaging which is very easy in the eyes. Whilst many natural brands try excessively to put flowers, leaves and what-not to appear green and natural, Kora has decided to go for simplicity. To me, this effectively shows more transparency as a natural and organic brand. Kora products have really nice citrusy scent that I don't get bored of. Products are light in weight and very travel-friendly although I would be careful about putting this at the bottom of the bag to avoid opened cap and spilling.

I also love the idea of adopting Masaru Emoto's theory about 'changes to water crystals can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of water'. You can see that positive words such as Empathy and Trust are seen at the back of the two products.

Hand Cream
'a perfect consistency and performance'
'sinks right in'

I wanted to show you a before and after picture because I have really dry hands but the results are impossible to be photographed. However, I really like the creamy texture of it and it keeps my hands moisturised for quite long. I do need re-applying 2-3 times when I'm outside. Saying that, this hand cream won't go greasy at all, it sinks in right away and only leaving your hands soft and supple. I personally find it difficult to find a perfect hand cream because too lightweight, it won't moisturise and too heavy, it won't sink in. This is a perfect consistency and performance with a nice subtle scent.

Foot Cream
' It gives the illusion of making your feet feeling light as air'
'not heavy but very moisturising, not greasy'

Before. Dry foot, especially toes.

After: soft and supple

My toes feel moisturised although 'dry hard' skin needs to be sloughed off!

Kora foot cream owns a very similar consistency and performance as the hand cream. I have used foot creams in the past that won't sink in and leave greasy foot prints on the floor, but this one is really good. It is the only product out of all the Kora range that smells different, it smells like peppermint. It gives the illusion of making your feet feeling light as air. You can see on the after picture that the cream has softened the dry lines on my feet.

Ingredients:

Aloe barbardensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender)*, Camellia sinensis (Green Tea)*, Rosa centifolia (Rose Petals), Hibiscus sabdariffa (Hibiscus) Extract*, Olivoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Oleate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Oil*, Macadamia integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil*, Morinda citrifolia (Noni Fruit) Extract*, Trehalose, Benzyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, d-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Soyabean derived Natural Vitamin E), Mentha piperita (Peppermint) Oil*, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Citrus sinensis (Orange) Oil*, Lecithin (GMO free)*, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citrus aurantium ssp. bergamia (Bergamot) Oil*, Sodium chloride (Macrobiotic Sea Salt), Lactic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Aqua  (Water), limonene**, linalool**.

Would I recommend?

Until I have found a better hand & foot cream, yes I will recommend them. Honestly, the first thing that caught me when trying out Kora range is the smell. I am a bit picky when it comes to smell, because it either triggers my sensitive nose or get bored of the scent easily. But these two products have such a nice subtle smell that I keep sniffing on, it is just so uplifting and calming. I am particularly in love with natural brands because they contain essential oils which I find therapeutic, very beneficial to calm the tired mind.

They currently only retail at selected pharmacies and David Jones across Australia and at Isetan, Japan.
Other countries currently can only purchase the brand from Kora Organics website

Have you tried Kora Organics products? What do you think of them?

About The Brand..

'Kora Organics is a reflection of my passion for living a healthy, organic lifestyle' - Miranda Kerr

Similar like many founders of organic and natural brands, Miranda kerr started off creating her own skin care line because she could not find a skin care to have a result and ingredients that she wanted. The hero ingredient in Kora product is definitely Noni fruit which she has been consuming since a young age. Kora products also do not lack Essential Fatty Acids, Herbal Extracts, Essential oils and Vitamin A, C, and E and many other replenishing and rejuvenating ingredients.

One thing that I absolutely love from this brand is their Kora Organics Blog which they update twice every week. I know it can be a little bit difficult to find out where to start when entering a healthier lifestyle. Kora has many useful informations that you can read which are practical. Many of the posts are by selected guests who are invited to write but Chef Kate, Therese Kerr and Miranda Kerr are often seen participating too. Kora is a business being ran by the Kerr family. If you're interested, they often hold events to promote healthier way of eating and living organic lifestyle and also to promote their own brand across parts of Australia. The brand sells full skin care from blemish gel to eye gel as well as body care from body wash to body oil.

    1. Celsy! You can purchase the foot cream for $34.95 from David Jones, I have had it for more than a year now, and there's still quite a product in mine. A little bit goes a long way (I use it once a day) I think it's worth it :)
